The weekend before Halloween, Nanna and Grandpa Bill came to visits. We carved our pumpkins and went to our neighborhood Halloween parade with neighbors. Ella was very excited to be a butterfly, and a baffled Zoe was a baby pumpkin. Ella had her first trick-or-treating experience this year and absolutely loved it. She stomped right up the houses and knocked on the doors with neighbors Marley and Joel. The unfortunate side effect is that the world of candy has been opened up to her. It had to happen some time!
