Zoe Turns One! Plus Easter too

We had a fun-filled weekend. Ella had a great time making Zoe's cake with Nana and celebrating all things Easter: dying eggs, hunting for eggs, getting stuff from the Easter bunny. Zoe is doing great. She's walking like a champ these days, and she got her first real shoes just in time for her birthday.

Well it's been a few months, but we've had lots of excuses for not updating this blog. Here we go... great smiles from Ella and Zoe over the past 8 weeks or so.

Zoe has found some words lately! Her first word was probably "Bye bye" quickly followed by "Ella". Now she also says "Dada" and "Cat". It seems like a lot of other words are on the tip of her tongue. Meanwhile, Ella came out with "information" today and also called me a "silly old man." Fortunately she also likes to call me "a really warm guy" so that makes up for it.
